Clothing Fund Drive
A clothing fund drive is scheduled from 9:00am to 1:00pm this Sunday, June 23 at the Hopewell Rec. prior to the picnic. Clothing can be dropped off at pavilion 2 by the playground. Clothing, sneakers, shoes, toys will be accepted. Please no books, CD's, VHS tapes, Kitchen Appliances, Outdoor Toys or Furniture please. Thanks for your participation.
SUMMER PICNIC
The East Fishkill Girls Softnall League end of the year picnic is Sunday, June 23 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at the Hopewell Rec. All players and families are encouraged to participate as team recognitions and trophies will be presented. Players are asked to wear their season jerseys. The grill will be serving hot dogs and hamburgers and ice cold drinks will be provided for all players. A dunk tank will be there along with face painting and a parent-child softball game.
Background Checks
Background Checks are now required for coaches participating in any sport in the Town of East Fishkill. Follow the information in the link below to register and complete the background check. The Town of East Fishkill is funding the cost for the checks. The background check will be good for two years. It must be completed by new coaches before the start of the 2013 softball season. If you were checked and approved in the Spring of 2012 you are good till 2014.

In addition, all coaches are required to obtain ID cards from the Town of East Fishkill. Once the background check is cleared, the ID card can be made at the Building at the Lime Kiln Recreational Facility.
Car Magnets
Car magnets will be available for purchase at registration. All proceeds go the East Fishkill Girls Softball League and it’s a great way to show your support!!!
While much work has been done with this new site, much more work is needed. EFGSL would ask everyone for their input. After reviewing the site, please forward any comment to efgslmaster@gmail.com and we will try and incorporate as many great ideas onto the site. Remember, this is a work in progress so only positive suggestions. Look forward to hearing from you.
Meetings are generally held the first Thursday of every month. In the Winter months they are held at the Community Center in Hopewell Junction. The public is always invited to attend meetings. The EFGSL are always looking for volunteers. If interested please drop by.
